EXPERIENCE SUMMARY
I have over 25 years of experience in managing organizations and complex programs, under often difficult conditions, and have received commendations on the majority of these. This work included interfacing with White House staff, U.S. Congressional staff, Federal departments, State and local agencies, trade unions, and a wide range of domestic and foreign manufacturers and industry trade groups. I have overseen human resources, accounting, contracts management, training, facilities construction, computer programming, public relations, marketing, and technical services delivery.
My products include: establishment of a fully-computerized and networked motor vehicle emissions and safety inspection system for the State of New Jersey (including constructing and equipping 34 State-wide physical facilities with state-of-the-art testing equipment, hiring and training over 1,000 staff to run them, and conducting a successful TV, radio and newspaper public relations campaign); development of award-winning multimedia training materials on pollution prevention for the U.S. Air Force; successful restructuring a failing program for the State of California; pioneering a major new business for Parsons Corporation; and spearheading the development of national environmental regulations.
